Founded in 1879, St Lawrence College provides a first-class education for boys and girls from 3 to 18 years. Located on the Kent coast, within easy walking distance of the sea, we are a private school set in a safe, spacious campus housing boarding and day pupils from local, UK and international families.

We ensure pupils attain their personal best academically, whilst preparing them for life in a rapidly changing global society. Modern facilities combined with traditional values based on our Christian roots draw out the talents of each pupil.

Strong pastoral care, high quality teaching and a great emphasis on extra-curricular activity make this a very special community in which to live and learn.

The happy atmosphere, the friendly familiarity that exists between staff and pupils, and the politeness that they see around them, always strikes visitors to the School. Pupils thrive in an environment, which is friendly and calm yet disciplined and purposeful. We firmly believe that if young people feel secure, valued and properly guided, they will not only enjoy their schooldays but will fulfil their potential both in and out of the classroom.
